Six years ago, Awake Window & Door Co. was founded with a vision to redefine what’s possible in architectural window and door systems while building a company driven by purpose. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re reflecting on the journey, the people, and the values that have shaped who we are today, and where we’re headed next.

Many companies don’t make it to year six. Those that do often credit a breakthrough product, perfect timing, or a lucky opportunity. While innovation has certainly fueled our growth, we’d point somewhere else first: our culture. From day one, Awake has believed that exceptional products begin with exceptional people, united by a shared purpose and a commitment to one another.

What drives us

What began as a small team has grown into an award-winning manufacturer trusted by architects, builders, dealers, and homeowners across North America. From custom luxury residences nestled in the mountains of Arizona to expansive modern homes overlooking coastlines and city skylines, Awake products have helped define some of the country’s most remarkable homes.

Every system is engineered with purpose, combining ultra-narrow sightlines, industry-leading performance, and proprietary aluminum extrusions that give us greater control over quality, consistency, and innovation.

Yet products tell only part of the story. Our mission has always extended beyond manufacturing windows and doors. It’s reflected in the way we hire, the partnerships we build, and the standards we set for ourselves every day. Employees can tell the difference between a mission that’s lived and one that’s simply written on a wall. For us, purpose shapes real decisions, builds trust across our team, and creates a workplace where people genuinely want to contribute to something bigger than themselves.

Over the past six years, we’ve also learned that culture isn’t something you establish once and then forget. Like any worthwhile investment, it compounds over time. Small habits, celebrating wins, learning from setbacks, supporting one another, and staying true to our mission have created a team that continues to grow stronger together. As Awake has grown, so has our responsibility to intentionally protect and nurture the culture that brought us here.
