Awning Motor Cover Kit
At Awake Window & Door Co., the details matter — including the hardware that makes our windows operate. Our new awning motor cover kit brings a more cohesive architectural finish to motorized awning windows, pairing the functionality of the Sentry motor with an enclosure designed around the Awake aesthetic.
Developed, prototyped, and tested in-house, the kit replaces the motor’s standard mounting and cover components with an Awake-designed assembly. It retains the Sentry motor and drive adapter while introducing a mounting system and fabricated metal cover that conceal the operating components. The result is a cleaner, more integrated appearance.
Designed to Complement the Window
Motorization should support the design of an opening, not distract from it. The kit’s clean, squared enclosure reflects the architectural detailing of Awake’s window systems.
Rather than relying on a standard molded-plastic cover, the exterior components can be powder-coated to match the window frame or supplied in black anodized to closely coordinate with black-anodized framing.
Behind the cover, stainless steel mounting brackets support the assembly. A non-handed mounting design allows the same kit to accommodate right- and left-hand operator configurations, while the removable cover arrangement provides access for future servicing.
Plan for Motorization Now — or Later
The kit is intended to offer flexibility in how motorization is incorporated into a project. It can be coordinated with a new window order or supplied separately as a parts kit for a later upgrade on a compatible unit.
For a later upgrade requiring a custom powder-coat finish, an additional paint setup charge may apply. Coordinating the motor cover kit with the original window order provides an opportunity to address the finish requirements from the outset.
