Awake now Partnering with Cardinal Insulated Glass in Buckeye
Awake is excited to announce a new partnership with Cardinal Insulated Glass and their Buckeye, Arizona facility. Their 400,000 plus square foot plant is one of the leading insulating glass plants in the country, renowned for its automation methods. The new partnership with Awake comes at an exciting time of growth for both companies.
“We already work with some of the best insulating glass plants in North America, including West Coast Insulated Glass and Agnora. We are thrilled to now offer our customers the option to buy insulated glass from Cardinal Buckeye as well,” says Awake Window & Door Co. COO John Engelstad.
Awake customers will be able to price out quotes in our V6 quoting software utilizing Cardinal direct pricing by the end of September 2024. Popular options like Cardinal 366, Cardinal 270, and Cardinal 240 will all be available for pricing. All Awake units with glass purchased from Cardinal Buckeye will also come standard with preserve protective film on the interior and exterior of the glass. Cardinal Buckeye has the ability to provide glass sizes as large as 94” x 142” and has lead times of just a few days on glass remakes.
“Due to Cardinal’s vertical integration and automation, Awake customers will often see a meaningful price decrease when they choose the Cardinal direct option for glass. At a time when most manufacturers are raising prices, we are excited that this new partnership instead provides our customers a way to bring our price down in a big way,” adds Awake Chief Revenue Officer Andrew Darr.
