Awake Introduces Guardian SNX 70+ as a New Glass Option
As part of our ongoing effort to provide the most advanced glazing solutions available, Awake Window & Door Co. is pleased to announce the addition of Guardian SunGuard™ SNX 70+ to our available glass offerings.
Guardian recently introduced SNX 70+ as a next-generation triple-silver low-E coating designed to deliver an exceptionally neutral appearance while maintaining outstanding solar and thermal performance. As architects and homeowners continue to prioritize larger glass openings, cleaner aesthetics, and enhanced energy efficiency, SNX 70+ provides an exciting new option that aligns perfectly with the Awake product philosophy.

Why SNX 70+?
One of the most impressive features of SNX 70+ is its highly transparent and neutral appearance. Guardian engineered the coating to closely resemble clear, uncoated glass while maintaining the performance characteristics expected from a premium low-E product. The result is a glass package that allows views, architecture, and natural light to remain the focal point.
Guardian also designed SNX 70+ to provide a more consistent appearance when viewed from different angles, helping minimize the visual shifts that can occur with some high-performance coatings.

What This Means for Awake Customers
Awake will begin offering SNX 70+ as an available glazing option across applicable product lines. The addition of this coating gives architects, builders, designers, and homeowners another premium glass choice when selecting the ideal balance of aesthetics and performance for their projects.
For projects where preserving true-to-life color, maximizing transparency, and reducing exterior reflectivity are priorities, SNX 70+ offers a compelling solution — particularly well suited for contemporary architecture where uninterrupted views and minimal visual distractions are desired.
A New Option, Not a Replacement
Unlike the recent transition from SNX 62/27 to SNX 60+, SNX 70+ is not being introduced as a direct replacement for an existing coating. Rather, it represents an expansion of the glazing options available to Awake customers. As we continue to evaluate new technologies and performance advancements within the glass industry, our goal remains the same: to provide products that maximize views, enhance comfort, and support exceptional architectural design.
