A Small Shift That Makes a Big Difference

Based on customer feedback, we’ve introduced a new grab handle offset for our pivot door ladder pull handles.
What’s Changed
The new offset refers to redesigned mounting hardware that attaches the ladder pull grab handle to the door stile while repositioning it slightly toward the center of the door.
This small shift creates additional clearance between the handle and the jamb.
Why It Matters
In response to customer feedback, we reengineered the hardware to address specific needs:
- Easier access to the lock cylinder.
- More comfortable clearance when grasping the handle.
The result is increased usable space at the locking point—making the lock easier to operate and the handle more comfortable to grip, without interference.
Design Without Compromise
Importantly, this functional upgrade does not alter the clean, minimal aesthetic of the ladder pull.
The updated offset maintains the same refined look designers expect while quietly improving usability where it matters most.
Now Standard on All Pivot Doors
Going forward, all Awake pivot door orders will include this new grab handle offset as standard.
No special request is required—this configuration is now the default for all pivot doors.
