Updates and reminders for our V6 quoting software for dealers
Awake Window & Door Co. is excited to announce a series of updates and reminders for our V6 quoting software—an essential tool designed to streamline the ordering process and empower our dealers to quote new projects quickly and accurately.
Enhanced Quoting Capabilities
The updated V6 system incorporates several improvements aimed at reducing errors and ensuring precision throughout the quoting process:
- 90-Fixed Windows: Dealers must now list these as two separate line items. Be sure to select the “butt glaze corner” option for each side and ensure offset glass is added.
- Shipping Charges: It’s essential that you remember to plug in your shipping charge (the system defaults to $0), as the charge will be applied regardless. Please refer to your “Shipping Chart” for a detailed breakdown by region.
- Red Wrenches Alert: If you notice red wrenches on your Quote Items Tab, this indicates that the quote is out of date—either due to its age or a recent update. Simply click the VALIDATE button at the bottom left to refresh and update your line items.
- Multislide Glass Options: For projects involving Cardinal Direct, you may continue using ¼” glass with a 1” overall dimension (OA). However, for larger units—those exceeding 84” on both sides or totaling more than 72 square feet—the upgraded 5/16” glass with 1.25” OA is required.
- Finish Options: V6 has a Standard offering is a Black Anodized finish. All other colors will be processed as Powdercoat finishes and calculated manually according to the guidelines provided in our cheat sheet.
- User License Policy: Please note that user licenses will be deactivated automatically after 60 days of inactivity. Be sure to log in regularly to maintain uninterrupted access.
