Coming soon, the Series 295 Lockbox Hinged Door brings the historic character of classic steel architecture together with the performance and precision engineering of a modern aluminum system.

Designed to challenge the traditional perception of aluminum hinged doors, the Series 295 replaces bulky commercial profiles with remarkably slim sightlines, expansive glass, and a refined lockbox design. The result is a sophisticated entry system that captures the elegance of traditional steel while maintaining the minimalist aesthetic that defines the Awake product family.

The defining feature of the Series 295 is its ultra-narrow 3⅜” lockbox sightline, creating a streamlined appearance that allows the glass and surrounding architecture to remain the focus.

But the 295 is about much more than aesthetics. An advanced multi-point locking system engages at multiple locations with a simple lift of the handle, enhancing security, structural integrity, and weather performance. The system also features a 4½” jamb depth, allowing it to common-mull with many other Awake products or integrate directly into an Awake Window Wall for clean, cohesive architectural openings.

With an NFRC test-size U-value of 0.35 with LowE3 glass and argon, the Series 295 combines its narrow architectural presence with energy-efficient construction.

The Series 295 accommodates large individual panels, allowing architects and designers to create impressive glass-forward entrances while maintaining narrow profiles and exceptional performance.

A range of sill options provides additional flexibility based on the architectural application, from completely flush transitions to configurations engineered for demanding weather exposure.

The 295 can also be common-mulled to hinged doors, operable windows, fixed Window Walls, and patio doors, or incorporated into Awake’s 1⅜” T-Bar, giving designers even greater freedom to create expansive assemblies while keeping sightlines as narrow as possible.

A contemporary squared handle, color-matched hardware, and a surface-mounted continuous hinge complete the system with a cohesive, minimalist appearance.
